Field Days

"Any educator that wants to see how environmental education can get better and better, should sign up for one of The Sauk River's Field Days. Their field days can really drive classroom lessons home in a huge way!" -- Scott Daninger (Albany High School)

We pride ourselves on getting kids of every age outdoors to truly experience what environmental education and our natural world can teach us. Whether it is getting a bunch of preschoolers to plant flowers, or a college biology class performing an intensive monitoring project, everything is better with hands-on, practical applications. We can tailor a field event for your classroom; whether it is a couple hour nature hike or a week-long field event, let us work with you. Through our grants and many project partners, we can develop the perfect program for your needs.
